New date! New location! We're excited about holding our first Fall Retreat. We have the perfect location - the lodge at Countryside Day School. And, we have the perfect program, because it's presented by our own amazing WSL alums.
We have identified four areas that are important to us all:
- Care of our School
- Care of the Parent
- Care of our Staff
- Care of Ourselves as Leaders
We’ll spend a half-day on each of these valuable topics. We'll wrap things up on Sunday morning with several timely and informative presentations.
Thanks to WSL alum Michele Aspinall and Countryside Day School, we are able to hold this retreat for significantly less than last year!
The Retreat begins with a reception on Thursday, October 1 at 6:30 pm. It ends on Sunday, October 4 by noon. There will be a reception Thursday night at the school, and a party Friday night. O'Hare airport is an easy drive from the school.
Regarding hotels: The date has expired for our group rate at the Sheraton Northbrook. Their normal rates are very high, so you may want to consider Staybridge Suites - Glenview. This hotel is nearby.
We suggest you book now, as there are a limited number of rooms available.
If you plan on bringing your significant other, please let us know so we can make arrangements.
